The Commercial Program will effectively lead and develop the City Businesses, ensuring the provision of high quality services to customers in accordance with community expectations, whilst maximising the profitable returns to Council.

About the Opportunity
As part of the Commercial Program the Bookings & Events Coordinator, Adelaide Town Hall will ensure the effective coordination and facilitation of all non-catered event bookings and activities and supervise the day to day operations of the Adelaide Town Hall, in conjunction with the Team Leader and Commercial Manager.

About You
To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Experience in the successful coordination and facilitation of events.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the procedures and processes, policies and legislation required to manage a diverse range of events and activities within a venue.
  • Knowledge of the complexities of managing a multi-space venue.
  • Significant customer service experience and ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external customers.

Please be advised this is a full-time, 2-year fixed term opportunity with a starting salary at the Level 4 Classification commencing at $72,477 + 9.5% superannuation.
